1.1 Introduction

The IMBA-C604EP is an ATX server board. It accepts a Socket LGA2011 Intel® Xeon®

E5 Series processor (up to 8 cores) and supports eight 240-pin 1600/1333 MHz DDR3

DIMM modules.

The IMBA-C604EP is designed to support PCIe Gen 3.0 specifications with up to 40 lanes

at 8 GT/s I/O bandwidth. In addition, the IMBA-C604EP provides server management

function through the IPMI 2.0 and iKVM support.

The IMBA-C604EP is equipped with one VGA display output. Expansion and I/O include

four PCIe x8 slots, two USB 3.0, eleven USB 2.0, four SAS 3Gb/s connectors, two SATA

6Gb/s connectors, four SATA 3Gb/s connectors and one COM port.
